Surround Yourself with Success

By Healthy Wealthy nWise

Greg Reid is the founder and CEO of Work Smart, Inc., a partner in Wish Entertainment, Inc., and he is the author of "The Millionaire Mentor" and "The Millionaire Mentor Corporation". Wish Entertainment is the producer of the popular film "Pass It On".

"Millionaire Mentor" would naturally make one think Greg's mentoring is directed toward millionaires, but that's not the case. Greg's passion is kids. He mentors inner city youth in the San Diego area, and the kids are the ones who gave him the "Millionaire Mentor" title.

Mentoring others is something Greg has always done. His parents encouraged him to go to college, but he didn't even finish high school. He wanted to jump right into the business world, so after about two years in his first sales job, he sent his W2 home to his parents to prove that he could make $100,000 in a year just by doing what he loved to do.

The "Success Equation" is something Greg Reid created. It is: P T x A(squared) = Success. "P" is passion (what you would do if money didn't matter), "T" is talent (what you are naturally able to do well), and "A" is association (the people with whom you spend most of your time).

If the five people you spend most of your time with are successful and wealthy, chances are you will be, too. If they're not, chances are you won't be either. Surround yourself with positive people. Seek out great minds in the field of your passion.

Abraham Lincoln once said, "People are as happy as they make up their minds to be". Greg Reid took that message to heart. He lives his life as happy as he can, and he shares the happiness wealth through his "Always Good" website.

Mentors are all around us. Greg calls it the reticular activator system. You notice what's on your mind. If you're planning a wedding, suddenly it seems everyone you meet is getting married. If you buy a blue car, suddenly every car on the road is blue. It's not that everyone just bought a blue car. It's that you never really noticed before.

Make up your mind to do something. When you do, your mentor will appear. If you're willing to be a student, you'll find a teacher. Your mentor doesn't have to come in the form of a person. It could be a book, seminar, CD, or if you're lucky, your next door neighbor. To be a success, surround yourself with successful people. - 15224
