Using the Internet to save yourself money during an economic slow

There is so much gloomy news these days about the financial meltdown and recession, just what can you do to survive the credit crunch?

The Internet is your best friend during times like these. Luckily, there are a myriad of differentways you can use it to save money and have some fun at the same time.

Let's take a look at 5 top ways to use the Internet to beat the credit crunch:

1) Save fuel by shopping online. With the price of fuel so high, try shopping online to save fuel. Anything you can do to reduce trips will save you money. Almost anything you need or want can be purchased online - and usually at a saving to what you can find at your local stores. If you are the kind of person who likes to see what you're buying, then you can always use the Web to find the best prices, therefore saving you money and extra mileage between stores.

2)Find bargains online. why not use auction sites such as Ebay and classified sites such as Craigslist, Gumtree (and any local ones) to find yourself bargains - whether you are buying new or secondhand. If you have the time , you could also search the lesser known auction sites which tend to have some good bargains.
