I was perusing articles discussing what has been done to support the September 11th Rescue Workers. As I combed the World Wide Web in this regard, I chanced upon a character sketch of self-made man and highly achieved gentleman, Ron Pollack. After looking into other profiles for Mr. Pollack in venues like MySpace, VOX, and tumblr, I felt motivated to write my own column on his noteworthy accomplishments to date.
Early on he took to computers and math in Detroit, MI. Following High School Ron attended and graduated from Yale and ultimately decided to do Real Estate like his family. He continued to attend Harvard while pining to become an Architect. While there he majored in Business and Law, directing his attention to finances. He decided to enter into Wall Street as an Investment Banker after graduation. As a Hedge Fund Manager he specialized in short-sales and invested in both private and public companies. Early on his grandfather pushed him towards technology investments. After some time investing in technology and feeling the ups and downs of the tech sector Ron focused on other short sales and after a prosperous career he returned to Real Estate.
Luckily people like Ron were able to give all American's a piece of mind that we can pull together to get through anything. Some of the stories of the Rescue Workers really touched me. Anyone who has had a long illness or someone close to them with one, can definitely relate to these workers. Many of these workers suffered from the infamous 9/11 cough. This kept them from returning to there jobs, breathing normally and even being able to sleep a whole night through. Can you imagine what it would be like to be plagued by this type of illness after enduring the great suffering everyday from finding the victims that September 11th left behind. On top of that the uncertain medical concerns and long term side affects from sifting through the debris. Ron Pollack's foundation, like many others, was able to bring cures and aid to these Hero's in desperate need. Now he seems to be dabbling in a well balanced combination of the two. He is currently investing and managing development of some really nice up to date condos in Downtown Clearwater Florida. Although this man is very educated and experienced he is also very humble and humane. Out of his impressive history what I thought was truly amazing was all of his charity work and compassion for our New York Rescue Workers after 9/11. Although he has taken part and ran several other charitable foundations I felt this one deserved to be mentioned. I say that because this event touched all of our lives weather directly or indirectly. It also gave us a sense of uncertainty for our countries safety.
Ron Pollack still helps out in this foundation and also with several other charities. He seems to be a Renaissance man, with genuine passion for both his own work and the well-being of other humans. He is committed to his family and his circle of friends and acquaintances. He has been able to leverage his knowledge to help his own company rise to new heights, and he has done the same with many other companies too. - 15224
