Prosperity in all things is the natural, default setting of the Universe. Yes, God or whatever you wish to call the Universal Spirit would love to see a Ferrari in every driveway and It would have no trouble coming up with them. The problem is, we are wired deep down inside to repel the prospect of abundance.
It may seem rude and evil to think that the Universal Spirit obeys our commands but give it some thought. What if it was true? Could it be said that the condition of your present life reflects the conditions of your thoughts? Not till recently have researchers found that our subconscious is where all the creative action is and it is rotten with old, negative programming, most of which does not serve us well.
The hard thing to accept is that I am the author of my problems. The part of me that I am conscious of wants and sees need. The subconscious, powerful part of me keeps reminding the source that I am not worthy, that I am bad, that if I get something, someone else will have to do without. So, I do without.
As a society, we are torn between what the ads tell us we need to be acceptable, sexy, successful and all that and the actuality of our lives. If I create my reality, what about the wars and other horrors on the news? Those arent mine.
It doesnt seem to matter what we have accomplished in life. We seem to be trained from early on that we are never enough. Rich pop stars suicide, the average person groans under heavy loads of mediocrity and the poor languish in slums. Prosperity and happiness, it seems, are elusive.
How do I know you feel this way? You're reading this, aren't you? You are not alone. But, what to do?
There is plenty of activity out there regarding this new movement in thought. Pursue it. You will come to understand that nothing can stand in the way of your manifesting the life you want except those circumstances, places, things and people that YOU allow in (or that you allow in unconsciously!). Master this concept and the world is yours.
Perhaps the hardest thing I had to wrap my head around was the fact that this process of creation can work against you. If I go to a mall on a no limit-shopping spree and order a large diamond, I will get a large diamond. If my mind orders a toilet seat, it'll get that instead. I shouldn't be asking "What's with the toilet seat when I have a diamond mentality?"
Laws that are unbreakable tightly govern the universe and they work every time. Take gravity for example. If you jump off a chair, you will fall every time. So it is with creation in your life. The process does not change.
There doesnt seem to be anything sure anymore. Time was that prosperity could be measured and the security it allowed was assured. Now, what is valuable today has little value a month later. What was thought to be secure is found to be empty. The only things that are never changing are the rules of creation. You get what you think about, whether you want it or not.
As long as I rely on others for my prosperity, I will be at the mercy of whatever whim the world takes. Once I have mastered the art of creation in my life, nothing can stand in the way of my success and happiness. - 15224
