Speeding Tickets -- Are Low Quotes Possible?

By Chimezirim Odimba

Speeding tickets might look negligible but we know they aren't once they accumulate. They are getting more expensive with each passing year. Furthermore, they make your insurance rates go up. Too many speeding tickets on your driving record can make your auto insurance too costly for comfort.

What happens if you get yourself to a point where you can NO longer cope with your auto insurance rate? Would you be able to cope without a car or would you dare break the law by driving without insurance? Something that started with just common speeding tickets could pave the way for a jail term. Is that what you want? Therefore, do take more interest in ensuring those tickets do NOT pile up. While you do that, also try the following (They'll help drive your rates down)...

1. Defensive driving helps so get trained in it. Apart from the fact that this will make you a better driver, it will show your insurer that you're ready to change for the better.

2. Where you park your vehicle at night matters. Therefore, ensure your car is NOT parked in high crime areas.

3. If you currently drive a sports car or SUV, you may consider driving a more regular car. This will drive down your rates by a good margin.

4. As much as possible, drive less. The higher your mileage, the higher your rates.

5. You will save much by visiting at least 5 quotes sites. That way, you will be able to get the lowest quotes available since five sites will return not less than 25 quotes altogether. - 15224
